Authentic Things to Do in Nosara Costa Rica With Essential Prediction & Strategy

Nosara Costa Rica is not a place that makes an excellent first impression. Nosara Costa Rica isn’t like other beaches in Costa Rica. There aren’t many shops, restaurants, hotels and surf schools within a few blocks. You never feel like you’ve arrived at this beach town when you drive down the narrow, bumpy dirt road to Playa Guiones. After getting lost and finding a few dead ends roads, we eventually found our way to Downtown Guiones. This 500m road leads to Guiones Playa Nosara Costa Rica (also known as Playa Nosara in Costa Rica).

Nosara was filled with 90% of its guests when we booked our hotel stay. Yet, walking down Downtown Guiones felt like we were alone. The souvenir shops were overpriced and air-conditioned but hidden behind closed doors. There was no indication that any activity was taking place. We don’t usually enjoy crowds, but we couldn’t help but wonder where everyone was. Perhaps they were all surfing Nosara, Costa Rica. We didn’t know.

Nosara offers a tranquil landscape of coves and serene rivers, and vast tropical forests. It is the perfect place to recharge and escape. You have arrived in Nosara in Costa Rica. It is surrounded by lush, undeveloped forests, national parks rich in oxygen, and the most transparent ocean water in Costa Rica. Although Nosara has seen a lot of popularity in the last ten years, its charm is still small-town with an air of tranquillity and isolation. It also offers plenty of activities for eager tourists. Nosara is also known for being one of five original blue zones, which are places where people live longer, healthier lives.

Nosara, a small town in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, is located on the beach. Nosara is a small slice of paradise with beautiful beaches and lush green forests. It also has some of the most friendly people on the planet. In the past two years, I have spent many months in Nosara. Although this doesn’t grant me ex-pat status, it does give me some insight into the best things to do and places to visit in Nosara. Because I was there so long, I met some locals who showed me the best, non-touristy things in Nosara. These things are mine to share with you.

Nosara, a charming village in the middle of stunning nature, is a popular destination for tourists looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, reconnect with nature and take part in many activities under the shade of the forest canopy or the sun. The stunning beaches and lush forests draw adventurers from all over the globe to Nosara. You can also swim or surf at the Playa Guiones and sunbathe until you get your desired tan. The National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see wildlife in their natural habitat. 

Nosara’s morning: Wake up to the sounds and rhythms of the jungle. Two minutes walk to Playa Guiones, where you can do some yoga poses while watching the surfers. For stunning views of the Pacific, wander north to Playa Pelada. Does this sound idyllic? Is this not paradise? The town of Nosara may appear simple at first. It’s a collection of dirt roads that wind through dense jungle and others that return you to where you began. You’ll be amazed at the charm of this charming beach town.
